Do you need a battery Pack?

​

A Battery cell is the basic electrochemical unit device which converts chemical energy into electric energy. A battery cell is usually light, compact and a single unit comes in specified voltage and capacity.

The nominal voltage of NiCd or NiMH cells is 1.2 volts, lead acid is 2.0 volts, LiFePO4 is 3.2 volts and lithium-ion is 3.6 volts.

There is also the battery pack route, which is made up of one or more cells. If your application requires higher voltage, multiple cells can be connected together in series to increase the voltage or if you need a longer run time, multiple cells can be connected together in parallel to increase the capacity. 

Not only can the battery packs be connected into series and/or parallel configurations, but the cells can also be arranged in different positions to meet certain dimension requirements for your application.
